Hi,
when exporting a report to Excel it automatically gets a temp name like example CH06_20120323_105604.xls. If I attach this file to an email without saving the file first, the filetype changes to .tmp. The receiver of the mail then get problems opening it (it does open if you choose to open it with Excel, but that is not straight forward for the end user)

However, this only happens whit Excel files exported from the QV Windows client, not from the web client. When attaching an unsaved Excel file exported from the web client to an email it keeps the *.xls filename.

Windows client version: 10

(we also use Lotus Notes as email system)

How can I fix this, so it also works on the windows client?

If saving the file first, then no problem, but not always doing that when making quick ad-hoc reports for others.
