hello community,

is it possible, to select a field in the table, which should be used as a primary key ?

of course, the field has to be qualified for this. but QV chooses the key by itself and sometimes seems generates a hidden primary key.

in SQL, [timestamp as PrimaryKey] allows to chose which filed represents the key.

I havent found a hint on if this is possible, wether in the "reference guide" nor in the community.

Why you looking for primary key here?You came across any issue because of not having primary key?

As of me creating primary key is not possible.

Qlikview choose the wrong field of the table as primary key.

im looking for an option to choos the key yourself, overriding the automatic function of qlikview.

You mean the tables joins itself using the field names are in common?

Exactly, but there are 3 fields, with the same name in both tables.

I want to choose, which field should be used AS KEY.

Fieldnames cant be changed, because the relations are allready in use.
