Good Day,

I am trying to link Qlikview to a MySQL Database, however the Database has no password on the root Profile.

This profile can not be changed as the server it is running on would require too many changes, causing a lot of reports to corrupt.

After installing Qlikview on my Laptop, I attempted to connect to the Database. When it prompted credentials for the root profile, I was not able to select the "OK" button to proceed, due to the button being disabled on Blank Passwords.

Kindly assist in finding a way around this problem?

If perhaps you could complete the below link with the PASSWORD?

qvp://root@Server

Note : Alternative Profiles can not be used on MySQL, it has to be root.

Thanking you in Advance,

Sapphy
