V10 Installation issue

Hi everybody,

I recently installed QV 10 with all default setup choices.

My server is an Hyper V 2008 R2 server with 2 CPUs 8Go RAM.

I cannot start QV Web Server, the windows log is as follow :

Le service ne peut pas être démarré. System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Impossible de charger le fichier ou l'assembly 'System.Core, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' ou une de ses dépendances. Le fichier spécifié est introuvable.

Nom du fichier　: 'System.Core, Version=3.5.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'"

An idea ?

Not sure but check .NET version.

Should be .NET framework 3.5

Did you deactivate running antivirus programs?

Hi,

You need to have .NET 3.5 installed and updated in order to get all components and Server running fine, in addition to .NET 4. Check the Release Notes for QlikView 10 SR4 just in case.

EDIT: Basically that's what your message means. System.Core is a dll in the .NET Framework.
