Sort selectable fields in the dimension tab of chart

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is at all possible to sort the fields (e.g. grouped by source table in load script) in the dimension tab of a chart box aside from the default alphabetical.

It would be much more efficient if the fields were listed as grouped by the type for example, all the date dimensions grouped together, all the client dimensions grouped together etc.

Well...not really. But see the following pages in the Help file for what is possible:

mk:@MSITStore:C:\PROGRA~2\QlikView\English.chm::/Tag.htm

Also see Document Properties >> Tables and try checking "Dimension" as a tag on a few fields to see how this autosorting works.
