      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to use a button to set some date variables which are displayed in two calendar controls. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately I either get:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) The date (e.g. today()) being displayed in the calendar controls but the variable value&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;being set to 30/12/1899 &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) No dates are displayed in the calendar controls but the variables are correctly set by the button actions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please can you take a look at the attached example qvw&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Many Thanks for your help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dave.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;That was because originally it was doing 5 divided by 10 devided by 2011, then formatting the result as a date. the quotes tell it that it is a text string and not a formula&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
