Issue with OLAP Connectivity to SAP BW Cubes

Hi all,

I'm new to QV, but experienced with SAP BI. I am trying to test connectivity to a SAP BI system using SAP OLAP Connector for Cubes.

I can successfully connect to the SAP BI system and extract from DSO's already

I have checked the security profile requirements for the communication user in SAP BW and the authorisation objects are all in place.

When I attempt to connect to Cubes/queries, I only see a few cubes. I have just recently created a query on another cube with the OLE db connection flag ticked.

Why do I not see this cube in the dropdown list?????

Are you checking in Scriptbuilder or what?.

if yes than you have to extract data dictionary once again by reloaddata.qvw .

I fixed this. the problem was that the query in SAP BW did not save properly with the OLE DB flag set.

We tested indicating tim_a1972 and is correct!
