Hi All,

(I am using Qlikview10).

I would like to ask you all that I have two different sets of data each has InvoiceDate field. I have converted this date to week.

Now my task is I have to make the report by week which will be compared against a different datasheet which is in excel and which contains Year,Week, Startdate and EndDate.

Hope it makes sense.

Hi,

Make a calender in application and use

Week( InvoiceDate ) as Week

because in all sheet you have InvoiceDate so no matters there is no connection it will better connect with the InvoiceDate

in calender use

Week( InvoiceDate ) as Week,

Month( InvoiceDate ) as Month

ets

Thanks for the earliest response.

Actually I have to map data according to that excel sheet.. Suppose my data sources contain data from 2000 to 2011 but my calendar(excel-sheet) has data from 2005 to 2011. I have to show only data which falls under 2005 to 2011.

For this what I have to do, plz suggest.

link two data sources by Invoice date

then calculate week date,month ,year what ever you want

better idea to add flags to each report to differentiate

No problem for this you need to just sort the data among 2005 to 2011 where ever you want use that date
