What are the Basic and Main differences between Pivot Table $ Straight Table. Please provide info about that.

Hi,

What i have found until now is.

In pivot table you can drag the dimensions over the expression. Means Dimension shown as column. This is not possible in Straight table.

In a povit table you can not drag expression in middle of expression, but you can do that in straight table.

Straight Table

* Has Dimension limits

*Repetitive data representation

*We can hide the dimension and expression easily

*no sub total options

*No Pivoting

*Better performance

PivotTable

* Has no Dimension limits

*Tabular format data representation

*We cannot hide the dimension and expression easily

*sub total options

*No Pivoting

* Less performance compared to straight table

etc

As per I know their is no limitations on the number of dimensions in straight table as the number of dimension increase it might take more time to generate the chart
