user defined sort on a chart

Hello,

my requirement is to give the users the ability to change the sort on a combo chart, similar to the way it works on a straight table. The sort will be based on

the metrics displayed in the chart (responses or sales).

I think some of the options are:

1. Use Action buttons to switch between the 2 charts, one sorted by sales desc, the other one sorted by responses desc.

2. Macros - found some posts in the forum about that

3. Input box where the user can select the sort type and pass that value in a variable to the chart

4. Containers

Are there any other/better ways of accomplishing this?

And what would be the best solution in terms of performance & memory usage?
