Qlikview Document Corrupt

Dear Member,

I am using QV 9 SR5.

Due server problem my qvw file is corrupt. To get script or appliocation, I have ot repair this corrupted file.

Can you suggest me the correct path. So I can recover the application. when I try to open this file, 'file to load' error getting.

I already use easter egg setting : applicationrescue, Scriptrescue and objectrescue.

then same error I m getting.

Herewith I attached the application.

Please resolve my problem as early as possible specially Qlikview Experts.

Hi Yogesh,

If the document is corrupted you will not be able to recover it. As a best practice always keep a backup.

However you can try using the Binary load. It will load the the access and data parts of a QlikView document but not the layout.

I had backup also. but those are also corrupted.

This is not single application there are 31 applications.

Please, suggest me any answer.

As far as i know the only option is try Binary load.

I face this issue, and i open only the document in (Recently Opened Document)

Open qlikview application --> go to (Recently Opened Document) --> right click in document and select

(Open ' Document Name ' and reload Data

Hi Yogesh,

i tried from your document and getting executed. I am not getting the error what you have mentioned. Rather i got different error as execution failed do u want to reload the old document.

Binary statement should be first statement in the edit script.

try it once and let me know

Hi...

In qlikview we must always work with th backup.If it has been corrupted there is no solution for getting the application

Never say never. Qlikview says if you get locked out of a document there is no solution but that's not true either. You just need to think out of the box.

Absolutely backup often, but there maybe ways to recover.

you can do one thing

open qlikview -. onstart page go to recently open document->check the application name which you want to open->right click -> open without data->then reload the application.
