topic Calendar View in QlikView

Calendar View

Is it possible to use the calendar object in QlikView to look like an actual calendar? Sort of how it looks when you press the calendar icon, but constantly open so I can select the days inside a particular month?

If I understood, then have a look at the attached. In it, I was trying to mimic the calendar object as closely as possible both visually and functionally. So in the example, mine only appears while you're making the selection. But since it's under your control, you could easily make it persistent.

(Edit: Ah, I was WONDERING why I bothered with this exercise back when I did it. Someone had asked for a calendar that went from Sunday through Saturday instead of Monday through Sunday. That's something else you may need to fix to make use of it. Let me know if you have any particular difficulty.)

Thank John, this is a great starting point for me to work with. I just like the idea of a persistent calendar to choose my dates from. Before, I would have 3 list boxes, 1 for year, month and day and that seemed like a bit much just to make date selections from a visible list (instead of drop down selections).
