Refreshing Data in your Main Screen

When I click the refresh button on my QV document's main screen, all of the list boxes go blank. The database behind this data is very large (1.6 million rows by about 150 columns). I'm wondering if I just have to wait longer for the database to refresh because of the size? Is this a normal issue when refreshing data?

Hi sumeet.mody,

can you verify that the gray windows with the reload status is appearing? Otherwise the script seems not to run. You can activate logging through

>> Settings >> Document Settings >> General >> Generate Logfile

to see where the script fails.

Thanks Florian, I actually realised that I needed to hit "Reload" instead of "Refresh" to update the database feeding my QV doc. Do you happen to know the difference between these two options?

Reload is faster then refresh
