Install without publisher

I had an existing install where we had publisher & server up and running on a temporary license. Now we have purchased the server license, but not the publisher. I was advised that I should do a clean uninstall & reinstall.

When install QV server 10, it asks me to select the profile which I want to use. The options are 'QlikView Server', 'Reload/Distribution Engine', 'Management Console' & 'Webserver'. I selected 'QlikView Server', 'Management Console' & 'Webserver' & I still see the publisher options when I open accesspoint. I am looking for the 'Reload' option so that I can reload a document without the publisher & I cant seem to find it. Please help.

Hi Dinesh,

Did you delete all the files after you uninstall? QV will usually keep the configuration files and license files even though it is uninstalled. The normal path for WinXP:-

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QlikTech

Remember to empty the program files folder as well (just to be safe)

When I deleted the QlikTech folder you mentioned & re-installed, it worked.
