I have a question, when you load a QVD file and store it into another Qvd file, the Size is supposed to be smaller or bigger?

javoritz,

If you load a QVD in your script, then store that same table into a separate QVD, I would expect the size to be very very close to the same size as the original. If you name it something different that would change the size ever so slightly. I'm not sure if that's exactly what you're asking.

Hi javortiz,

When you create a qvd file it compresses to a certain extent.. and when you use that qvd to create another qvd then the size of the new qvd file would be

size of old qvd+ size of new data loaded

now if the the new data is zero then the size remains same
