    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qlik.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/28937"&gt;@manideep78&lt;/a&gt;&amp;nbsp;, please try creating a new field like this :&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;LOd&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;fields..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;DateField,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;date#(substring(DateField, ' ', 1))&amp;nbsp; as DateField2&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;From yoursource;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is going to separate the date using space as separator for the subfield function.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just take care of the date separator '/', can be replaced for '-' if needed, but with Date# function should be work&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear Community,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can you please let me know how to read this kind of date format in QlikView. I have used different date formats but nothing worked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Read the &lt;U&gt;date as is&lt;/U&gt; and display in QlikView.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BTW, these date are coming out of Teradata.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have connected Teradata&amp;nbsp; and QlikView using ODBC and reading the date columns.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="Untitled.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.qlik.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/49104iCBAFB129663A1A0F/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="Untitled.png" alt="Untitled.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
