Marcos...

No not solved it yet. We'll probably go a different way unless someone can come up with a solution.

Yes we could show 2 charts but I would like to know if we can do it all in a single chart.

...

This is driving me nuts! HELP!!

I have a dataset like:

Date                      Value

02-Jan-2021        500

03-Jan-2021        400

04-Jan-2021        450

01-Apr-2021       600

02-Apr-2021       700

03-Apr-2021       500

The user can then choose 2 date ranges (they must be the same length for comparison purposes):-

Range1 = 02-Jan-2021 to 04-Jan-2021

Range2 = 01-Apr-2021 to 03-Apr-2021

What I want to see is a Line Chart with both lines:-

The date range shown is Range2… it’s a single chart (no layering of objects).

Plus I’d like a Straight/Pivot showing all the number too.

Any ideas people?

Hi Owlsoftal,

Have you solved this puzzle ? I hope so.

Glancing your question, I would ask if you could not have 2 Line Chart, side by side horizontally, each one with 1 Range...

Good luck,

Marcos
