I think this must be defined within the definition.xml and/or the dynproperties.qvpp within your extension folder. How exactly - I don't know. Maybe any other extension provides such possibility and you could look how it's done respectively defined. I assume for everything what isn't explicitly defined it takes a hard-coded default-value.
