How to add security rules to specific filter pane values

At my company i have a many users that are part of our domain. each of those users who need access to our qlik dashboard sign on to qlik sense local through our internal network and i allocate a license to the account generated in the QMC users section. I am creating a dashboard for our sales reps. each rep has specific locations that they serve. one of the tools im using on the dashboard is a filter pane that allows a user to select specific loc_ids to filter the sheet to represent data from their specific locations. However I want each sales rep to have access to filter for only loc_ids that they serve. is it possible to have a security rule on the filter pane so that only specific selections can be made based on the account signed in.

This is not something you'd handle using security rules. Rather, this is something that requires the use of Section Access .
