I am newly joined, i have to develop a qlikview report on business operations, so what are the business requirement documents to be needed?? and what are the steps i should follow to develop a qv report.

That is a very general question. Try to understand which descisions are made based on the report. Talk to the users of the report. Maybe they are already using some reports. Build a prototype and get feedback fast. The needed format of business requirement documents are defined by your organisation.
