seems you are trying to open qliksense(qvf) file in qlikview.

I don't think you can open a QVF file in QlikView desktop client (neither in the licensed version).

You can open. qvw files but not. qvf files with qlik view desktop

The more recent versions of QlikView desktop default to saving the app as a qvf file, which can be opened by QlikView. So of the qvf was created by QlikView, it may be opened by QlikView. If the qvf was saved by Qlik Sense, you will receive this error message when opening in QV:

In the OP's case, my guess is that the qvf was created by QlikView but cannot be opened due to Personal Edition license restrictions.

Hello,

Do you have a QlikView server from where you can do a license lease? As mentioned previously this error might be caused by the fact you are using a Personal Edition of QlikView Desktop.
