It might be possible to do what you ask by looking into buffer load (not sure if Excel is supported or not). See https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/May2024/Subsystems/Client/Content/QV_QlikView/QVD_Incremental.htm#Append_only

An alternative is to store the qvds into separate qvd files. You can load them all into an qlik application later by using a wildcard in the source definition. Loading multiple qvds with optimized load is very fast.

(

@sureshkumar this is a Qlikview question so the QlikView App Dev section might be the correct fit for this question. We can move it there.)

To achieve this in QlikView, where I have separate Excel files for the years 2021, 2022, and 2023, and I want to perform an incremental load, you can follow these steps:

Load the data for 2021 and save it to a QVD file.

Load the data for 2022 and append it to the QVD file without reloading the 2021 data.

Repeat the process for 2023.

This method ensures that each year’s data is added to the QVD file without reloading the previous year’s data.

How do I do this I need help from a Qlik community
