Button Action not working - only works when clicked for a second time

Hi,

I have two fields in my Dataset :

Unit Code
Unit Name | Code

I have a button with the following action :

Select in Field [Unit Name | Code]

=only({<[Unit Code]={'GB46652'}>}[Unit Name | Code])

So, If the button is clicked I want the corresponding 'Unit Name | Code' to be selected based on GB46652.

However, this only works if it is clicked twice by the user... I have checked and there are no field triggers on either of these fields that cold be affecting the action...

Can anyone help/advise please?

I am not sure why it would take two button clicks to perform that action. But what if you put the action in the button twice? That might work

It will likely be more helpful if you can attach the qvw file or a sample that has the issue, so it can be looked at in more detail directly, bit difficult to try to sort it out otherwise.

I am having the same issue. I'm not sure what's wrong. I don't see anything else that could be causing the issue. Has anyone found a solution? It's no wonder people are moving away from Qlik.
