    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;QVS Server Service Connection Issue &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There were issues connecting to the QVS Server service on the server from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM on March 30, 2023 and from 10:45 AM to 11:15 AM on April 18, 2023. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Although the QVS@njvpd160 service was displayed as disconnected in the QlikView Management Console, it was found to be running properly when checking the service running on the server. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The problem was resolved by restarting the server. We would like to know why this issue occurred. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;An event log is attached. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Please let us know if you need additional information. &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;you should consider updating to a supported version of QlikView Server as soon as possible, since your version reached the end of life in November 2019. There have been lots of security improvements in the meantime, including vulnerability fixes.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Apart from that, a usual culprit in these scenarios is antivirus software: do you have the &lt;A href="https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/QlikView-Folders-and-files-to-exclude-from-antivirus-scanning/ta-p/1713060" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;required exclusions&lt;/A&gt; in place?&lt;/P&gt;
