Difference between accessing QVD file through browser or QV Desktop client

Hi!

I have a Qlikview Application file (QVW) hosted on a remote server. I can access this file from my computer through a browser with no problems. But when I try to access it through Qlikview Desktop client, I'm having problems: I can reach the server file but when I open it, it doesn't get loaded, the app stays white with "not working" message. If I wait some minutes and then I try to open it again, it works, but if I close the app and I try to open it again, it doesn't work.

Does anybody know why is this happening? I can asume the connection between my computer and the remote server is working because I can open the file through a browser. Is there any difference (in terms of connection) between accessing the QVD file through the browser and through Qlikview Desktop client?

Hello,

1. Is the Qlikview Desktop licensed or does it say " Personal Edition" ?
2. Is the Qlikview desktop the same version as the Qlikview Server environment?
3. Is the connection from your desktop to the far, how slow is the connection?
4. Are connecting tot he Qlikview AccessPoint form your browser?
