You can use the Qlik ODBC Connector package to connect to Azure Synapse Analytics. Refer to the Qlik online Help entries Azure Synapse Analytics and Create an Azure Synapse Analytics Connection for details.

We have gone through the steps, we are using Qlik Sense September 2019 version, does this support installing the Azure Synapse Analytics connector and we the version of Azure is

Microsoft Azure Synapse SQL Analytics - 10.0.20438.0

Are these compatible.

The Qlik Sense Help entry Azure Synapse Analytics lists the supported offerings (Qlik products) and supported Azure Synapse Analytics versions

Can we know the specific Azure Synapse Analytics driver name that needs to be installed in Qliksense server node so that we can create a direct ODBC connection (System DSN) and use this System DSN in Qlik sense to connect to this database.

That would be more of a question for Azure Synapse Analytics and what driver(s) it supports. I did a basic Google search on "Azure Synapse Analytics driver" and the following returns were shown:

Suggest that you ask the DBA who's responsible for this Azure Synapse Analytics db what they recommend.

The Azure Synapse Connector has same functionality of Azure SQL Connector in QlikSense versions prior to 2021.
