    <description>&lt;P class="_1qeIAgB0cPwnLhDF9XSiJM"&gt;I used to have QlikView 9 on my work PC which worked fine. I recently uninstalled it (and cleared it with CCleaner) and downloaded and installed the latest version of QlikView Personal.... And it just. won't. start.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="_1qeIAgB0cPwnLhDF9XSiJM"&gt;I have tried re-installing, repairing installation, giving admin access, launching in compatibility mode, but it just won't start.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="_1qeIAgB0cPwnLhDF9XSiJM"&gt;On Task Manager the process Qv.exe boots up for a split second and then just closes.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="_1qeIAgB0cPwnLhDF9XSiJM"&gt;Really not sure what this issue is.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="_1qeIAgB0cPwnLhDF9XSiJM"&gt;I am running Windows 7 on a x64 system and my system meets Qliks minimum requirements.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="_1qeIAgB0cPwnLhDF9XSiJM"&gt;Any ideas on what to do?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;I don't follow what you mean by "&lt;I&gt;Actually it can be the last one&lt;/I&gt;." Are you able to access the Qlik Download website and download the installation files for QlikView Desktop?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regarding connecting QlikView Desktop to a SQL Server database, have a look at the Qlik Help for the &lt;A href="https://help.qlik.com/en-US/connectors/Subsystems/ODBC_connector_help/Content/Connectors_ODBC/SQLServer/Create-SQL-Server-connection.htm" target="_blank"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;ODBC Connector &amp;gt; Create a Microsoft SQL Server connection&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Windows 7 is not a supported OS for QlikView May 2022. Refer to the &lt;A href="https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/May2022/Content/QV_HelpSites/System-requirements.htm#anchor-1" target="_self"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;System Requirements&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt; for details.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Note that per Microsoft, &lt;A href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/end-of-support" target="_self"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Windows 7 reached end of life over 3 years ago&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
