Hi All,

I'm new to the Qlikview and a learner, want to calculate Utilization in percentage. I just converted the duration into number and divided by 8 to get the utilization, what about the grand total utilization percentage? it is also calculating by 8, how to correct this. Please support me on this?

For grand total utilization it depends on the total number of items on which your calculating the utilization , for eg if your 10 SR then need to need to divided by 10 to get the overall utilization .

If my understanding is wrong please elaborate your requirement

I have wrote below expression earlier my grand total just sum all the percentage and show 795.4%, I don't aware that could write expression for grand total separately as you suggest since I'm very new to this, "In my case 63 hours people worked together for the day, per people 8 hours & for 7 people 56 hours, so against 56 hours my grand total wants to show the percentage. 63 divide by 56 close to 113%". Now I tried by below method choose "Average" in the Total mode. Looks like correct figure. I'm not sure still it is right?
