Issues in connecting to Azure Synapse database

Hi,

We are trying to connect to Azure synapse database in QlikView using Qlik ODBC connector. I have tried both Azure synapse Analytica and Azure SQL database connector but unable to connect using any mechanism. Using same connection details we are able to connect from SQL management studio. Would you please guide any additional steps or configurations to connect the database is required.

Hi @Michael_Dellatacoma ,

when using "SQL management studio" are you using it on the same machine as the QlikView client?

Does the password contains any unusual character that might be encoded in the wrong way?

Are you able to see any server-side log (I'm not familiar with Azure Synapse) which might give you some hints?
