One of our clients is interested in integrating SSO to our Access Point from their domain, so when client clicks on url to our Access Point, they want the app automatically authenticate them based on their domain credentials. Obviously, the client must only see apps/data published for them. They use SAML and OpenID as protocol for SSO.

What are our options?

Does Qlikview offer any integration tools besides Web Ticketing?

Can multiple Active Directory plug-ins be setup in our environment? For instance, we have our internal AD and then add client AD. What is required in that setup? Do we (as vendor) need full access to client Active Directory?

Hi @AnnaRodriguez,

Web ticketing isn't the only form of custom authentication you can integrate with QlikView. You can also use Header solution or Custom Developed Authentication Through Authenticate.aspx. We have many customers who utilized SAML with QlikView for SSO, so it's definitely possible. The Qlik Support article Customized Authentication in QlikView will direct you to a PDF which contains the methods I mentioned above along with some code examples. If you need direct assistance in configuring SSO/SAML integration, suggest that you reach out to your Qlik account manager so they can schedule an engagement with Qlik Consulting.

Best Regards

Chip / Ayaka - can you tell me if using web ticketing for SSO has any impact on Section Access and/or Reductions in Qlikview?
