We have a Qlikview server and users from various areas have access to the Qlikview Accesspoint. The users that are in a different region to the server cannot access it. They receive a time out error when trying to access the Accesspoint as it takes too long to respond. I don't think that this is a Qlikview issue as other users can access it, but maybe someone has had a similar problem Error: This site can’t be reached ssss took too long to respond. Search Google for ssss qlikview index ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

Taryn, I believe you may be needing to look over the following article and increase the SocketTimeOutInSeconds setting...

SocketTimeOutInSeconds setting

Hopefully this will do the trick, I suspect there is a lot of latency in the remote users' connections causing the issue, but hopefully increasing the timeout will at least allow the connection to complete, I cannot say how well the user experience is going to be after that, could be pretty poor I suspect.

Regards,
Brett
