SAP Connector Error

Hi Qlik Guys,

I am trying to make a connection through QV SAP Connector but getting below error.

Error : Mismatch between SAP Transport and connector versions. Please import the correct SAP transport.

Unable to retrieve transport version from system. Invalid parameter 'RFC_FUNCTION_HANDLE' was passed to the API call.

Kindly help.

This issue is because of the QlikView server which you installed SAP connector doesnot have access to extract data from SAP server.

Please ask your SAP team to enable access to the username you are logging in and server name you are extracting from

Hi Varun,

Access has already been enabled. Also the SAP transports copied to the Server System are correct.

Still getting the same error.

It sounds like the Transports have not been properly imported, can you double check this by looking at the Import Log using Transaction STMS.

Also can you attach the log file from "C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvSAPConnector\Log" ?

Can you tell me what is your SAP version and have you installed correct connector version for it and Your Transport files correctly installed on SAP Server?

And also increase your TimeoutBatch & Fetch

TimeOutBatch=3500;

set TimeOutFetch=5000;

Hi Neha,

Can you tell me what is your SAP version and have you installed correct connector version for it and Your Transport files correctly installed on SAP Server? My version is:

Componente Release SP

SAP_BASIS - 731 - 0013 Componentes de base SAP

Yes, we have installed correct connector version, tryed with versions 5.80, 5.90 and 6.00, and the transport´s file E66K900047, E66K900049 and E66K900050 for extration.

Before, i have tryed with sap connector version 5.80 in sap version release 731 and SP 0006, worked. Now, i update my SP for 0013 and sap connector connection is failed.

And also increase your TimeoutBatch & Fetch

TimeOutBatch=3500;

set TimeOutFetch=5000;

Don´t modify this in sap, but i don´t believe this is error.

This is log when i try test connection in setup sap connection:

Error Creation of function /QTQVC/CHECK_RELEASE failed after 00:00:00 Key = RFC_INVALID_PARAMETER (Invalid parameter 'RFC_FUNCTION_DESC_HANDLE' was passed to the API call)

I think my problem is that the sap connector does not work with the support package of the 0013 release 731 .

Hi Paulo,

I have SAP 730 Final Release version and for that I'm using SAP Connector 5.8 SR4 and I have uploaded transport file in the sequence of this-

E66K900047 (data extraction)

 E66K900036 (user profile)

Have attached the error file which i was facing.

You also have to use same connector. and same transport file as your SAP Version is 73x.

even using the sap connector 5.80 SR4 still remains the same message that your attached.
