SAP Report Connector - When selecting Report nothing appears

Hi,

Can anyone help

I have installed SAP Connector and set up a connect string and when I click on Reports I get the screen when I can type Report Name and Variant , I do that and then hit Get and nothing happens - Any ideas on what I am missing?

Hi David,

Which Connector version do you have (look at the top of the log file)?

Can you attach a log file from the Report Connector? That would make it easier to spot the problem.

Hi i have the same problem,

I can connect to tables,and the connector to reports works, but when I search a report it shows thinmessage "program XXX not found"

Please attach a log file from the Qv Report Connector that shows the issue.

Hi Nothing is produced in the log file I just get a blank screen when I click on

the Reports tab and type in a report and variant name - nothing gets returned

Hi David,

It looks like you have requested a Report (and/or Variant) that is not available. There is a transaction code you can use in the SAP GUI, the SE38. It gives you the dialog as the attached image. Press the marked button and you should see a list of available Reports. Then you can press "Variants" button on top-right of the dialog to see available variants.
