Isolate Sheets

Hi All,

I have more than 5 sheets and when I selct a data in a particular sheet, the other sheets should not highlight the selected data.

How do I isolate the sheets, what I mean is what ever selections made it has to be for that paricular sheet.

Any help here is gretly appreciated.

Hi,

What you want is to clear selection when you go to an other sheet.

You can use trigger in sheet property. Set trigger on open "clear all".

No this is not the one iam looking for, I mean the there should be no connection between a sheet to sheet.

I don't understand why you want to do this... If you are in a sheet, you can't see an other one. So it's not important if selection are done in other sheet...

Hi Christopher,

Lets say, I have a sheet A in this sheet when I click on 2011 year data, all the other sheets data reflects to 2012 which I dont want. Every time I have to do clear selections. So that is why I need to Isolate the sheets and keep them individaul and no matter what ever selections I make it should not reflect on the other sheets when I view the data on the other sheets.

Ok, then set a trigger to clear selection on particular field or for all when you leave or come to a sheet.

It will solve your problem.
