Hello,

I'm actually doing some testing on Qlikview and putting some of our data together in order to convince our management to move to Qlikview.

For that purpose, I'm using the free of charge personal license on my computer.

In order to collect some data from our SAP BW, I have also installed the SAP Connector add-on.

When I'm willing to establish a connection with SAP, I'm requested to introduce a license number.

Do I need a special license number to use the SAP connector on the personal version of Qlikview ? Is there a demo license available ?

Thx in advance for your answer,

RF

Hey Robert,

there is no special license number to use the SAP connector on the personal version of Qlikview ! Why don't you just export some Flatfiles from BW Sources and use them as input for you QV Applications. From my point of view for demo purposes it doesn't really matter if you connect directly to SAP or just fake the access. I think your management should be convinced by frontend functionality only and not by direkt bw access !?

Cheers,

Moritz
