Problems connecting QV to BW (using SAP Connector)

Hello all,

I'm having BIG problems loading data from a SAP cube.
I can see the cubes, dimensions, atribute, ..., but when qvw load the data cubes it gives th "General Script Error".

Looking at the log, it says that "Erro no início do analisador sintático: timeout during allocate / CPIC-CALL: 'ThSAPCMRCV'"

The cube don't have more than 1 Million cels.

Any help will be very appreciated. Tomorrow I will be at the customer and I can't find any help for my problem.

I am suggesting you to extract fact and dimention of cube seperately and join all of them in qlikview.

Good night,

It was a long time ago, but as far as I remember the problem was not in SAP connector. It was a SAP note it should be installed. After the SAP consultant install it, the error never happen again.

I've juste faced this problem.

Just in case it could help someone, I've applied the following SAP notes :

1032461 : to sum up you just have to copy librfc32.DLL (not librfcu32.dll) into the %windir%\system32.dll of the SAP BW server. No need to reboot.

413708 : to find the above DLL in SAP service marketplace.

Worked fine for me but a little bit tricky to find that DLL even with the SAP notes
