Problem with SAP OLAP Connector when upgrading SAP version

Hello

We are trying to upgrade the SAP BW version (separate environment from the ECC).

We are currently using System Version 731 Support pack level 0010.

The upgrade is to System Version 750 Support pack level 0006.

When upgrading the QA environment The connection works fine, and I manage to query when using an existing script.

The problem is with the query interface which is completely empty.

We checked the external access flags in BW (obviously if the flag was not on we couldn't query).

Any help will be much appreciated!!

Hi, have you looked in the logfile? You could also test the BAPI BAPI_MDPROVIDER_GET_CATALOGS that is called for metadata in SE37 / Mats

And if you have a dump in ST22 which is GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED, try to see if you could implement SAP Note 2394861 / Mats

And since it is a SAP BW system uprade, make sure that the MDX PARSER connection is working as expected (test it in transaction SM59) before trying to extract data with the OLAP connector / Mats

There is a dump when executing BAPI_MDPROVIDER_GET_CATALOGS.

I passed it on to our BW and ABAP teams for inspection.
