Additionally, what is the normal expected days to implement QlikView with these Modules above.

Thanks in advance.

The best SAP Connector doesn't really depend on the SAP module you want to develop documents for. It depends on the data/reporting layer you want to access and - more importantly - how you want the meta data to be handled.

For example, SAP SQL Connector allows you to access almost every one of the 80000+ tables in your SAP environment, but - as the name says it - in a query-based unprocessed way ("raw data" if you like). While the SAP OLAP Connector lets you query the SAP B/W Cubes in that same SAP system.

Read the first few pages of the SAP Connector help, which is now published on-line and available here: SAP

Best,

Peter

And for your second question: it depends on whether you want tailored documents or you want to get started as quickly as possible. The first can take you months to years (you did include everything in your module list), the second one can be done rather quickly by using the standard QlikStart templates for SAP. See here: A Collection of QlikView SAP Template. They may be a bit outdated though.

Best,

Peter

The best method to offload data from an SAP system is to use a connector to handle the special tables, meta-data, call interfaces, roles etc. It should be possible to connect straight to the source DB (DB2 in your case) but I would advise you not to do so. You will be rebuilding a lot of SAP logic in QlikView, which in my opinion is not what you intend to spend your money on.
Note: there are other vendors of SAP connectors for QlikView.

The QlikView SAP Connector has been promoted recently to simply being called Qlik Connector... So I guess the connector works with Qlik Sense too.

Best,

Peter
