SAP connectors with RFC query -Job failure when run time exceeds certain time limit

Hi all,

Need solution for the following issue .

SAP connector is being used to fetch data from a server. Initially everything went good till the server is being migrated but not after.

No firewall issues or !data can be fetched from the server as well.No data/packet loss are been found between the servers.

Communication to similar servers working fine as well.

Problem : During the job run if the run time exceeds exactly 10 mins the job fails (for e.g. 09:54 -Successful 10:04 job fails ).

What could be the issue how can it be sorted out ?!

Hi Saravana,

Please attach a log file from the job that shows the issue.

Folder location:

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\Custom Data\QvSAPConnector\Log

Which connector was it? (Sql?) Connector version?

What SAP server was it? SAP server version?

This could be due to the SAP profile parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time (transaction RZ11). Default value is 600 seconds.

In SAP you can use transaction RZ11 to increase the value temporary and use transaction RZ10 for the Defaultprofil or Instanzprofil to increase it permanently (after restart of SAP).

If you haven't rights on these transactions, you have to ask your SAP administrator to do it.
