Hi,

we have vbscript Excel macro to export to Excel tables of one Qlikview indicator. The Qlikview Management Console is executed in IE mode.

Is there other option to export to Excel without macro to avoid IE pluggin?

Hi @cduranm1,

The short answer is no. Using macros with QlikView Server is typically discouraged as they run on the server itself and interfere with normal QlikView Server functionality. While using macros with IE plugin run on the client side and do not interfere with normal QlikView Server functionality.

The following Qlik Help entry and KB articles have more information:

Using Macros in QV Documents on the QV-server

Best Regards
