QMS API get running task execution ID by taskName or taskID

Hi All,

I got a request to develop a program using QMS api to trigger and monitor task.

The program require to check task A status, If it is already running in QMC then continue to monitor task A status and send out notification when task A complete.

Else trigger task A and monitor task A status and send out notification when task A complete.

Appreciate if you can help to advice to how can I get task A execution ID if it is already running using taskName or taskID and use the execution ID for monitor task A status.
