I am also using VS 2017 and when I installed the QlikView workbench all I got was the qproxy. It seems to me the QlikView workbench is not compatible with Visual Studio 2017 and doesnt install any components or templates that can be used in web projects. The only alternative I see now is to use div integration in a more manual approach:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview-developer/November2017/Subsystems/Mashups/Content/mashups-div-integration.htm

Hi All,

I m trying to explore Qlikview workbench capability and I have workbench license in server. When I open up Visual Studio 2017 and select new project, I m not seeing Qlikview workbench template in it. Is there anything I m missing here to make it work with VS 2017?

Thanks

Rakul

Hi,

same issue. I think VS 2017 is not compatible yet.

Here is my solution. I downloaded Visual Studio Express 2012 for Web instead. Then perform operations on this page

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview-developer/November2017/Subsystems/QlikViewWorkBench/Content/QlikViewControl.htm

to add QvObject control manually into toolbox.

So i tested workbench succsessfully.

Good Luck!
