During installation of IE-Plugin (Version 11.20.12235.0) on a client (Win 8.1. 64bit) I receive the message: Error 1904 Module C:\Program Files (x86)\QlikView\QvPlugin\QlikOcx.ocx failed to register. HRESULT -2147220473. Contact your support personnel.

Can anybody help me?

Try installa IE plugin with the option "run as administrator"

sometimes you need permission to install

Thanks, for your help.The issue was another one.

I found finally an instance of qlikview running invisible in the background which prevented the ocx to register.

Where do you get the IE plug-in and how do you install it?

Hi, in the acces point you have an option to download and install ie plugin(at the up in the right corner)

I installed the plugin from our intranet site. But I don't see it showing up anywhere...does it need to be registered or something? I don't see it in Options - Add-ins inside of PowerPoint.
