cannot see extension in the access point

Hi, first time i am doing an extensiion. I used the word cloud one and saved it on both under my user name /extension/objects and under the "C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects". I create the folders "Extensions" and "Objects".

I can see the extension "Web View" on the desktop when i develop, but i cannot see it in the access point.

what should i do to see the extension in the access point?

Simply copy the whole folder from your desktop extension directory and paste it into your server's extension directory.

Dont know which qar files you are using, once you double click on the file, automatically the files will get genereated andthese extension objects only work in Webview

Right. In order to get them working on server, you copy and paste the folder from desktop to server location.

Did you open the document choosing "Full Browser Version"?

it is already there:

This is the path to my Word Cloud folder. The cloud is working fine

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects\wordCloud (on the server i created the Extension/Objects folders)

This is the directory path from my desktop

C:\Users\felipe.carrera\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects\wordCloud

Is this what you mean?

it worked.

I copied the "wordCloud" extension folder from this path (Desktop)

C:\Users\felipe.carrera\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions\Objects\wordCloud

onto this

C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\QlikViewServer\Extensions\Objects\wordCloud (Server)

without doing anything else. It means, everytime i want to use an extension, i open it, it will be directly saved under my name (under Users) and then i need to copy the extension and paste it to the extensions/objects folder on the Server directory?

I did not change .qar to .zip, is there a need to do this? or when it shall be done?

finally i can see the extension on the access point

Right, if you don't already have it installed on desktop and don't want to install it on desktop, you can change the .qar to .zip and unzip it, placing the folder containing the extension into the server folder.
