I am getting Syntax Error on the following

CUSTOM CONNECT TO

"Provider=QvSAPConnector.dll;ASHOST=192.168.100.18;SYSNR=03;CLIENT=200;KeepCasing=1;NullDate=1;XUserId=

EaeKQYRNJbaMXUVMXDMA;XPassword=BETFRIRNJbaMXUVMXDQCDZMGBE;";

TableName1:

Direct Select DOCID, MANDT from ;

TableName2:

Load ITEMCAT, QTY;

SQL Select ITEMCAT QTY from /SCDL/DB_PROCI_O;

while extracting data from SAP SCM Sql connector. Please advise.

If your using Qlikview 11.2 sr5 and above

try like this

TableName1:

Direct Query

Dimension

DOCID

Measure

MANDT from ;

if its below QV 11.2 SR5 then :

TableName1:

Direct Select

EXPLICIT //act as Dimension

DOCID

IMPLICIT //act as Measure

MANDT from ;

We are using Qlikview 11 SR6 and am using the following syntax :

Your QV 11.2 SR6 so the syntax has changed for it, try like this

its not Direct Select its Direct Query and its not EXPLICIT its Dimension and for IMPLICIT its Measure

TableName1:

Direct Query

Dimension

DOCID

Measure

MANDT from ;

Direct Discovery works in QV 11 SR6 so, use below sample query syntax

DIRECT QUERY

DIMENSION

Dimension1,

Dimension2,

Dimension3

MEASURE

Measure1,

Measure2,

Measure3

FROM TableName;

This is not accepting DIRECT QUERY, DIMENSION, EXPLICIT etc.

I dont have the access to load your data...

The error is because your not using qualified name for the DB or the path has got changed. Please recreate the from path by using the Select in the edit script.

try like this:

FROM DBNAME."tablename";

In your case:

DIRECT QUERY

dimension

DOCID

measure

MANDT

from DBNAME.[/SCDL/DB_PROCI_O];
