Hi Jonathan,

No, that is not possible with SBE. See chapter 15.2 of the Server Reference Manual, https://d1cf4w4kkla6tb.cloudfront.net/qlikview/11.20/12451/QlikView%20Server%20Reference%20Manual_ENG.pdf . "Third party security" is not possible, neither non-NTFS file level permission, which might be needed if authenticating through a 3rd party.

Regards,

Erik

Support for Custom Ticket Exchange in Small Business Edition?

Does anybody know if there is support for Custom Ticket Exchange (CTE) in QlikView Server 11.20 Small Business Edition. We are trying to put a design together that allows a QlikView document to be accessed inside an application with it's own user authentication. I want our application to request a web ticket after successful user authentication. Our app will be trusted by the Qlikview server. The ticket will be added to the document URL and create a session for the user to view the document without need for further authentication by Qlikview.

Is this possible, or do we need to upgrade to Enterprise Edition?

Thanks Erik,
We suspected this might be the case. Our customer does not want to upgrade at this time, so we will need to work with the restrictions of the SBE for the moment. Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Jonathan.
