Hi,

I need to connect a QlikView app to a SAP BW system.

I would like to know what are the difference between the Qlikview connector and the SAP connector.

Can i simply use the SAP connector to retrieve the data or I also need to buy something else from QlikTech?

Do you have any particular suggestion that I have to consider before connecting to a SAP BW system?

There are several ways to extract data from BW:

1. extract data from physical tables - by using QV SAP connector (requires to import QV transports in BW)

2. extract BEx query result - by using QV SAP OLAP connector

3. others, usually less usefull: QV extractor connector, BAPI connector etc...
