      <title>Issue in alerts using QlikView Desktop</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Team,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have an alert setup in QlikView Desktop, but recently not work, the setup is:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1 - Condition&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2 -&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;Events is&amp;nbsp;On Post Reload&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3 -&amp;nbsp;Trigger Level is&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN class="ui_item"&gt;Message Changes&lt;/SPAN&gt;:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4 -&amp;nbsp;Mode, not have anything (is right?)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;5 -&amp;nbsp;Message is dynamic&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;6 -&amp;nbsp;Mail Subject is plain text&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;7- Mail Recipients have various email and&amp;nbsp;is a semi-colon separated&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I validated the setup Mail server on QMC and the test mail is functional, but the alerts not work.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for your help!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You need to pick one or both modes...&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Also iircDesktop alerts don't actually use anything from QMC. You have to make sure the email definitions are correctly set in the QV Desktop client (User Preferences / Mail)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;How to determine the right mode please, and what service executes the alert and where to see the logs?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I understand in case of Qlik View Desktop, the process that execute the alert is the&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;QVB.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
