&lt;P&gt;Plugin doesn't need for this scenario, and any browser too. Only QliView Desktop Client.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>AccessPoint trouble in QlikView Desktop May 2023</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have a cluster of 2 QV servers.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Access for users is organized through QlikView Desktop Client.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The user run QlikView Desktop and takes the following steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;File -&amp;gt; Open URL…&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&amp;nbsp;go to&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="http://qvs/qlikview/index.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;http://qvs/qlikview/index.htm&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;choosing an application in AccessPoint page&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Usually apps opened in QlikView Desktop mode, but after updating to the QlikView May 2023, apps opening in Ajax Client mode inside QlikView Desktop.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are there any settings allowing to return previous behavior?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;First think to check, are the users using EDGE in compatibility mode, where the plug in is installed? Have you upgraded the plug in also?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you go to access point, and click on "view details" for a document and choose Plug in, does that work?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;There is a setting in the QlikView Webserver (in QMC) that controls default client. So also check that is set correctly.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
