Qlikview QMC task settings file

Hi All,

Want to extract / fetch Qlikview QMC task settings. How to get all the Qlikview task setting details?
Where i can find all the setting for all the tasks? is Qlikview stores/generates those details into any XML or any other file formats ?

The task information is kept in the QVPR as XML files. But all the information about a task is not kept in one xml.

For example there is a separate file for triggers and the link is not done in the name of the task but id number.

So it can be done, but it is not straight forward. The QVPR folder is found here

%ProgramData%\QlikTech\ManagementService\QVPR\Backups.

You can use the XML DB Viewer tool that's part of the QlikView Power Tools to review the QVPR and find what you're looking for. Highly suggest that you use only a copy of the QVPR and never use the live version.

To extract this information programmatically, typically people use the QlikView QMS API. There are multiple Community threads around this topic, so you're likely to find one, or you can start your own.
